Will Smith finally gives an 'official statement' after Jada drama but fans left fooled
The Smiths are taking over the headlines right now with Jada’s confessions about their marriage breakup, and Will Smith is now making an official statement after remaining tight-lipped. Well, sort of.
Jada recently announced that the celebrity couple had actually been separated since 2016, as they decided to “live completely separate lives.” After reports that Will was ‘caught off guard’ by the bombshell memoir, he’s taken to social media to release an ‘official statement.’

Taking to his 64.5 million Instagram followers, the Hollywood actor sat down for a video which he titled “official statement.”
Fans may have been sitting down and grabbing the popcorn for this one, however, the Fresh Prince Star fooled them with this one.
As he sits down, he says: “So, here’s the thing. My opinion is…. Uh…,” although the ‘sincere speech’ stops there as he goes to sneeze into his arm.
The video then zooms out, showing different landscapes including stunning waterfalls and mountains. Nice, but definitely not the drama we were looking for.
It looks like fans played along with the joke in the comments, as one wrote: “Needed you to weigh in with this opinion. It’s on point!”
“Always good to zoom out and look at the big picture!” joked another.
“I’m going to use this next time somebody asks me about politics!” exclaimed one.
It’s not the first post the star has posted on the gram since Jada’s memoir, Worthy, dropped. Earlier this week he posted a cryptic message on the site, captioning his first video: “Notifications off :)”
The couple are ‘working very hard’ on their marriage
Despite the tough times over the last 26 years, as well as “being exhaused with trying in 2016,” leading to the ‘secret separation,’ the couple are now “working very hard” on their marriage.
Speaking on NBC’s Today Show, Pinkett Smith said the two were really concentrating on “healing the relationship”.
“We are in a place now that we are in a deep healing space. And we are really concentrating on healing the relationship between us…” she told the broadcaster.
The 52-year old then went on to explain that they both had to accept each other for “the humans they are.”
