Rhea Perlman's hip flask lights up SAG Awards in hilarious clip
Rhea Perlman and Lisa Ann Walter were an absolute mood at this year’s SAG Awards, as they shared a hip flask, all thanks to Idris Elba. I bet that’s a sentence you didn’t think you’d ever hear.
It only took them until the opening monologue to crack open the drink, maybe they thought they were in for a long night. As the 30th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards took place on Netflix for the first time, there was no time for ad breaks, so celebs had to be sneaky about how they got their drinks. With no time to jump up to the SAG Awards bar, Rhea Perlman had it covered with her hip flask, and social media are obsessed.

As the SAG Awards traditionally don’t have a host, Luther star Idris Elba was there to kick things off and get the party started, literally.
In his opening monologue, he announced: “For those of you who were smart to bring a flask, remember, sharing is caring.”
The cameras then panned to the Barbie star, who was seen taking a swig, before sharing her tipple with Abbott Elementary star Lisa Ann Walter, who looked up to give a ‘cheers’ sign to the cameras.
Walter’s co-star Sheryl Lee Ralph could be seen open mouth shocked in the background, which we’re sure is going to be a meme for days.
Sheryl was then offered to have a swig of her own, but she was quick to decline as she shook her head mouthing, “No thank you,” as the audience erupted into laughter.
Unfortunately, we didn’t see if anyone else was offered any of the magic potions, but we’re sure they would’ve gladly accepted.
As the videos and pictures do the rounds on X, formerly known as Twitter, fans praise the 75-year-old for her ‘realness’.
“Every time I’ve taken a flask somewhere, I’ve never regretted. Rhea Perlman is so real for this,” wrote one.
“So Melissa and Barbara coded,” joked another.
Another fan wrote: “The table I want to sit at.” Honestly, us too.
The celebrity was nominated for for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture alongside her Barbie castmates, however, Greta Gerwig’s movie didn’t pick up any of the four SAG awards they were nominated for.
She may have found more people to share the flask with at the end of the night…
