With just one month left until the 20th anniversary of one of fashion's all-time favorite films (July 19 to be exact), we're already knee-high deep in nostalgia. Clueless gave us the style spirit animal Cher Horowitz, endless '90s fashion inspiration and of course, a new Valley-girl inspired vocabulary that is still quoted to this day. But how would the movie's iconic slang translate in 2015? We consulted As If: The Oral History of Clueless by Jen Chaney for the official definitions and origins of the movie's most popular slang, then reinterpreted our favorite Clueless one-liners for 2015—so Cher Horowitz and co. can still be on fleek.

Clueless definition: The Cher Horowitz way of saying "no way."

Clueless definition: Cher, referring to Amber, "She's a full-on Monet. It's like a painting, see? From far away, it's okay, but up close, it's a big ol' mess."
