Billie Eilish's outfit at People's Choice Awards defended as trolls say it's 'ugly'
The outfit Billie Eilish wore to the People’s Choice Awards has divided fans.
Billie Eilish was at the ceremony as she was nominated for two categories: Pop Artist Of The Year and TV Performance Of The Year. She won the latter but lost out in the former to Taylor Swift. Her TV performance was in Amazon Prime’s 2023 series Swarm. However, her accolades were not what concerned fans. Instead, it was her fashion choice.
Fans divided over Billie Eilish’s People’s Choice Awards outfit
To the People’s Choice Awards, the 22-year-old wore an outfit that was decidedly Billie Eilish.
She donned a gray and black sweater vest, a cream button-up shirt, and very baggy black trousers. Her shoes were a black pair of FTP sneakers dotted in white. The music star’s makeup was understated and she wore her eyeglasses while wearing her hair down.
However, some fans were not convinced about her look.

However, others were more optimistic about her fashion choices.
One said: “SHE LOOKS GORGEOUS OMG MOTHER.”
Another said: “SO GORGEOUS.”
Billie wins her first major acting award
It wasn’t just her outfit which Billie Eilish was talked about for, as she won her first big accolade at the People’s Choice Awards for starring in the celebrity drama Swarm. She was up against Hollywood stars such as Meryl Streep for the gong and managed to bag it. Some were not too pleased she had won while others were overjoyed.
In her acceptance speech, she said: “I want to dedicate this to Dominique Fishback [the show’s lead actress] because that show is all about her. She brought her whole cooch into that show.
“And she really carried the hell out of it. She taught me everything I know. That whole experience I owe to her. She deserves this more than I do. She’s incredible, she is beautiful, she is talented, she should be cast in everything forever.”
Fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to share their thoughts on her win. Some were not pleased.
However, others were happy for her.
One penned: “Well deserved.”
Another said: “Glad to know this. She’s been doing great, after all.”
A third wrote: “Congrats to @billieeilish on the choice award, well deserved, did a hell of a job on #swarm.”
