Angus Cloud's final hours and the heartbreaking last words he said to his mom
Two months after the 25-year-old’s sudden tragic death, Angus Cloud’s mother has revealed his heartbreaking final words to her the night before.
The Euphoria actor’s cause of death was recently revealed as an accidental drug overdose, confirmed by a coroner. His father had passed away, just two months before, with his funeral taking place a week before the TV star’s death. Two months after the extremely difficult time, his mother, Lisa Cloud, has spoken out about his final days.

Angus Cloud’s mother reveals heartbreaking final words
Before going to bed on the night before his death, on July 31, Lisa Cloud told PEOPLE her son’s final words to her were: “I love you, mama. You’re the best, I’ll see you in the morning,” before giving her a hug.
The morning after, Lisa tragically found her son ‘slumped over’ his desk. At first, his mother thought he had just fallen asleep creating art at his desk, which was a regular occurrence.
However, as she got further to greet him, she then realized something wasn’t right. “I started shaking him and screaming. I pushed him hard, and he fell on the floor. I tried to resuscitate him — mouth to mouth — and I was compressing him,” she emotionally told the publication.
She then opened up about how she was screaming for a neighbor, as she didn’t want to leave him to call the emergency services. “I just kept at it until they took him away,” she said.
“I miss him so much. He was the love of my life.”
The actor was in ‘decent spirits’ the day he died
The movie star was said to be in “decent spirits” the day before his death, as his mother Lisa recalls her final memories with her eldest child.
He spent time with his uncle, Kevin Cloud, who helped him rearrange his bedroom, moving in a bookcase from the basement.
Kevin, who was one of the last people to see his nephew alive told the publication he spent around four hours with the 25-year-old that day, describing it as “an easy and happy time”.
Angus also paid tribute to his late grandfather, Dr. Preston Cloud, on that same day, placing his ashes on the mantle.
Zendaya calls Angus ‘one of the most unique people’ she’s ever met
Zendaya also remembered her friend and co-star, telling PEOPLE he was ‘one of the most unique people she’s ever met’.
“I don’t think a spirit like his could be defined. He was one of the most unique and pure-hearted people I’ve ever met. I hope he knows how loved he is, how much we miss him, and how much better the world is for having felt his glow,” she said in an email interview.
At the time of his tragic death, the Spider-Man star posted a black and white picture of Angus, known as Conor to his friends and family on her Instagram page.
In part of her emotional lengthy caption, the 27-year-old penned: “I’m so grateful I got the chance to know him in this life, to call him a brother, to see his warm kind eyes and bright smile, or hear his infectious cackle of a laugh (I’m smiling now just thinking of it).”
Weeks after Angus’ tragic death, Zendaya visited a mural for the star, which was created for him in Los Angeles.
